Learn about our Program

  • Borrowing Applicant is an operating business organized for profit that has demonstrated a need for the desired credit, and the desired credit is not available on reasonable terms from commercial banks.

  • The purpose of the ICON CDC Small Business Micro Loan is to provide businesses located in the San Fernando Valley with funds for: working capital, equipment purchase, inventory, tenant improvements, and debt refinance.

  • $50,000 - $100,000

    Loan fee: 1%, out of pocket expenses

    7-10%, depending on collateral.

  • Funds will be made available through controlled disbursements to vendors or, in the case of working capital, controlled amounts for payroll and operating expenses.

  • The Micro Loans, shall meet one of the following public benefits:

    • Loans must be located in Low-to-Moderate Income (LMI) communities;

    • Empowerment Zones and Enterprise Communities;

    • HUB Zones;

    • Business eligible for Patriot Express (Veteran Owned);

    • Firms with more than 50% of F/T workforce is low income or resides in LMI census tracts;

    • Start-up businesses: Minimum job creation of 1 new job
