Request for Proposal (RFP)

Single Audit Services

Initiating Change in Our Neighborhoods Community Development Corporation (ICON CDC) is currently seeking proposals from qualified Certified Public Accounting (CPA) firms with extensive experience providing nonprofit auditing services, including Federal Single Audits.

ICON CDC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the San Fernando Valley through programs that support small business development, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment. We are seeking a firm capable of supporting our organization’s financial reporting and compliance needs for the upcoming fiscal year.

Scope of Services

  • Annual Financial Statement Audit for fiscal year ending June 30, 2026

  • Federal Single Audit services

  • Preparation of IRS Form 990 and related California tax returns

  • Preparation of a Management Letter and comparative analysis of prior year activity

  • Participation in audit committee and board meetings as necessary

  • Availability throughout the year to answer technical and financial reporting questions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience auditing nonprofit organizations

  • Experience conducting Federal Single Audits

  • Knowledge of HUD and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funded organizations preferred

  • Ability to meet reporting deadlines and provide timely deliverables

  • Strong communication, organization, and client support experience
