60 Attendees Start off with ICON CDC'S Spring Entrepreneur Training Program

On March 11, ICON CDC kicked off its Spring 2026 Entrepreneur Training Program (ETP) in collaboration with the South Valley BusinessSource Center. The opening session welcomed a diverse group of aspiring entrepreneurs and provided an overview of ICON CDC’s mission, program resources, and step-by-step guidance for building a business. A business advisor from our South Valley BusinessSource center led the session on Licenses and Permits, offering essential insights on properly registering and meeting city and state requirements. This cohort includes both in-person and virtual participants, reflecting our commitment to accessible entrepreneurship support. The upcoming sessions will explore topics such as Business Structures, with expert guidance from USC Professor Michael Chasalow. ICON CDC will continue enrolling new participants as we help individuals across Los Angeles turn their business ideas into reality, culminating in a graduation event on April 29.
