Atwins Rentals Inc. — Building a Family Legacy One Fence at a Time
Jeniffer and Vincent, a determined husband-and-wife team, came to the ICON CDC North Valley BusinessSource Center (NVBSC), located in Council District 7 (CD7), with a clear vision: to launch a family-owned rental business specializing in temporary fencing, gates, windscreens, and repair services for both residential and commercial clients. Backed by Vincent’s hands-on experience in the industry—dating back to his teenage years working in his family’s former fencing business—the couple was ready to turn their dream into reality.
Their journey began in July 2025 when Jeniffer enrolled with NVBSC and sought guidance on formalizing the business. Referred by LA County’s Economic Mobility Initiative (EMI) program hosted by ICON CDC, Jeniffer and Vincent successfully registered their new S-Corporation under the name Atwins Rentals Inc., paying tribute to their shared goal of building a legacy together.
While Vincent leads the field operations with deep industry expertise, Jeniffer has stepped in to oversee the business administration and ensure the company is set up for long-term success. With their business entity in place, the couple returned to NVBSC for continued technical assistance to complete the remaining steps necessary to legally operate within the City of Los Angeles. Working closely with a Business Specialist, Jeniffer received step-by-step support in registering for essential business permits.
Beyond licensing support, NVBSC also introduced the couple to access-to-capital opportunities, including upcoming grant and loan programs, to help finance their startup expenses and scale their services.
Today, Atwins Rentals Inc. is not only formally established and compliant with city and state requirements—it stands as a testament to Jeniffer and Vincent’s commitment, collaboration, and family values. With the continued support of ICON CDC, this duo is building more than just fences—they’re building a legacy.
