Capturing Stories with Sheldon Botler

Sheldon Botler is a Los Angeles based professional photographer and videographer whose work centers on storytelling and capturing authentic moments. With over a decade of experience, his portfolio includes portraits, events, and commercial projects for organizations, creatives, and high-profile individuals, reflecting both technical skill and strong narrative depth.

Before joining ICON CDC as a program participant, Sheldon was already collaborating with the organization through his photography services. Through that relationship, he learned about ICON CDC’s entrepreneurship support offerings and chose to participate to strengthen the business side of his creative work. Reflecting on his experience, Sheldon shared, “Some of the biggest challenges I faced before joining the program were being organized, especially around finances, and navigating local resources.” He added that the experience helped him move forward with greater confidence, noting, “I feel capable of taking bolder moves, reaching out for consultation, and encouraging others to be a part of the program.”
