ICON CDC and the Community Investment Department Celebrate 47 ETP Graduates

On August 31, 2026, ICON CDC celebrated 47 graduates from the South Valley BusinessSource Center Entrepreneur Training Program at the Van Nuys State Building. Through the program, participants gained practical knowledge and tools to help them start, manage, and grow their businesses.

The graduation marked a new chapter in ICON CDC’s partnership with the City of Los Angeles as the newly established Community Investment Department joined the celebration for the first time. General Manager Abigail Marquez shared remarks and joined her team in presenting certificates to the graduates.

The event celebrated the accomplishments of the graduating class and a continued commitment to creating opportunities for entrepreneurs throughout Los Angeles.
