ICON CDC Celebrates 62 Graduates from the Entrepreneur Training Program

On April 29, 2026, ICON CDC proudly celebrated the graduation of 62 entrepreneurs who completed our 8-week Entrepreneur Training Program, bringing together individuals from across the San Fernando Valley with diverse backgrounds, ideas, and goals.

Throughout the program, participants gained hands-on knowledge in key areas such as building a strong business plan, understanding licenses and permits, managing finances and bookkeeping, developing effective marketing strategies, improving credit, and preparing to access capital. Each week built on the last, giving participants not just information, but real, practical tools they can apply immediately. Whether they came in with just an idea or an already operating business, every graduate left better equipped to turn their vision into reality or take their business to the next level.

The energy throughout the program carried into graduation night, where many participants were joined by friends and family who supported them along the way. It was a true reflection of the community behind each entrepreneur and the determination it took to reach this milestone.

We are especially thankful to the Van Nuys SDA Church for providing a welcoming space for all seven weeks of classes, as well as hosting our final graduation celebration. Their support played a key role in creating a consistent environment where our participants could learn, connect, and grow.

At ICON CDC, this graduation is just the beginning. We remain committed to supporting each of these entrepreneurs as they continue their journey, and we look forward to seeing their businesses thrive in the months and years ahead.
